Actually what should happen is that there should be UNHCR facility, probably in Mexico to process people who are legitimately seeking asylum.. and sent to countries that can accommodate them.. including the USA. As what happens around the world. That's why it's important to fund the United Nations. These problems are not going to GO AWAY.. just with a wall. Wars ..despot leaders, climate change etc. people won't sit quietly and watch their families starve ..or be threatened. If the west had a COLLECTIVE brain.. they would invest in these countries.. AND DEVELOP MARKETS AND GROW THE WORLD ECONOMY. But that would be intelligent and TOO PROGRESSIVE.
