Declassification of classified documents in 1993 has already revealed that Japan had been requesting peace talks with the United States since early 1945. In short, Japan was already about to surrender. The United States used the atomic bomb only for human experiments and demonstrations to the Soviet Union. Furthermore, as Senator Graham says, the people of postwar Germany and Japan did not become slaves of the United States because of indiscriminate massacres.
