  2. Shinto is no longer worshiped as a religion because GHQ banned Shinto. So, the title "Worshipers are not religious" written by a Westerner makes me uncomfortable and angry.💢 Why can they be happily at the shrine, forgetting all the terrible vandalism they did? This video of Westerners explaining Shinto only looks like a bad joke. To me, they seem to be ridiculing the Japanese and not respecting Shinto. If Westerners have some respect for Shinto, they should restore thousands of important Shinto books burned down by GHQ before such a "explaining".

Therefore, it disappeared from most Japanese lives, leaving only things like culture and customs. Most Japanese know less about Shinto than David. I think you should mention about these historical background. Anyway it is strange that Westerners who try to erase Shinto and force Japanese to forget it want to know about it.
