@MarkYeung1 I believe CPC gov't has taught mainlanders to treat all Chinese citizens as family, regardless of ethnic, especially those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Hong Kong people being educated with British education and exposed to most western cultures, will unconsciously adopt the racism of the western culture.

@tomsuh1362 China leased Kowloon and New Terrority to British for 99 years. Hong Kong Island was given to the British after China lost in the Opium War. Without Kowloon and New Terrority, just the Hong Kong Island is useless to the British.

@Glenn_Ratcliffe China didn't ban Google and YT. It's Google who chose not to operate in China. Microsoft and Apple are operating in China with no problem. China does not oppress foreign companies like the US and western countries.

@marie1938 In the past, regional discrimination is common among Chinese, especially the older generations. Village A and Village B would fight with each others for decades. My mom will still discriminate all other Chinese except those from her same town, criticizing their cookings and cultures.

@gwent5914 Hong Kong is over-populated. Hopefully when the young generations get used to the mainland and will seek job opportunity in other cities in China, or even in other countries.
