@peteralmeida8321 Trump is not a typical republican. Hes not a corporate puppet. His tax plans included cuts for the middle class. Hes bringing jobs back to America and preventing them from leaving, thats what the trade war is about. Also because the trade deals were negotiated so poorly to begin with. Your criticism would be accurate for any previous republican president, but not Trump.

@peteralmeida8321 He talked about ending the federal reserve and he created tariffs that made several giant employers rethink outsourcing their production. He renegotiated much better trade deals with the EU that helps American farmers. By the way the trade war with China has been going on for decades. The US just wasn't involved, at least publicly. China has been violating our intellectual property rights blatantly, government funded laboratories manufacture and send illegal drugs to the US in massive quantities, they devalue currency, they use slave labor to undermine every other economy. They have been waging war for decades, but Trump stood up to them.
