  1. Mexico has rich natural resources. Theres no reason it should be so poor. The corrupt Mexican politicians are using the US border as a pressure valve to stave off revolution. If border was secured, Mexico would probably have another revolution in a decade and become wealthy.

  2. Mario Guerra Latin American immigrants in the US are sending $69 billion dollars a year back to their families. Most of it going to Mexico. That money is not getting spent back on the US economy. So the US is not hurting Mexico, instead they're leaking money there. Corruption and the cartels are easily the biggest reason why Mexico is poor and unstable.
