  2. There are many theories as to why we haven't discovered intelligent life outside Earth. My best guess is that our communication technology is not advanced enough to interpret any messages from an alien civilization. It's like they're using radios to communicate and we're using smoke signals Also, is it really so hard to believe that we are here by chance, against all odds? What about the billions of years of life on Earth that existed before us? What about the fact that our evolution could have taken a very different turn if even the slightest alteration was made? I think as time goes on it only further disproves the existence of God, or at least the god of Abraham. A god not known for being shy doesn't say a word for thousands of years? Seems highly suspicious. But at least theists are using science to try and prove their point, even if it can easily be debunked, instead of "My book says so"
