  2. Wrong. India developed their own nuke. No assistance from Soviet or USA. India was a nonbloc country, unlike China who got the nuke from Soviet technology transfer in 1950s when Soviet & China were all time close.

  3. Incorrect. Geopolitics has always been a complex thing. You forgot the fact that during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war, China was closer to Pakistan rather than USA closer to Pakistan. Why would US support Pakistan if it also benefits China? Especially 2 years later when Pakistan provided supports to Arab League against Israel (US ally). US only became closer to China after that corrupt Nixon approached China in 1971, as the Sino-Soviet Split got worsening
