  2. Except Franco was better & smarter. He didn't want Spain to be involved in the whole Mussolini & Hitler war, by being neutral during the war. After WW2, Franco also appointed people capable in their fields which resulted in 1950s-1960s Spanish economic boom. Plus during the Spanish Civil War, the Spanish Loyalists (communist side) were not any better than the Spanish Nationalists (Franco side). Stalin literally stole the entire Spanish gold deposit from Bank of Madrid with the help of Spanish Loyalists. George Orwell reportedly wrote Animal Farm & 1984 because he became dissillusioned because of what Stalin/Communists did, authoritarianism knows no bound whether it's left or right.

  3. Franco also had more grasp to the real world compared to Trump, because Franco started from bottom, from poor. He didn't become a general because of his father/nepotism. Unlike Trump who was born already spoiled and then he received inheritance from his father so he stayed rich despite of numerous bankruptcies because of his lack of business skills.
