  1. Nobody wants them? Bruh, Indonesia my country used to bid for Leopard 1A4 MBT in the 1990s. Perfect for our needs, it was a solid medium MBT and suitable for our infrastructures. Other candidate was the British Challenger tank. But unfortunately, corruption during Suharto regime made us bought the Scorpion light tanks instead, which were later found to be unsatisfactory, and our upgraded AMX-13 outlived the Scorpion eventually. Now AMX-13 is being replaced by secondhand Marder 1A4 & new FNSS Medium tank. While we also purchased secondhand, upgraded Leopard 2A4

  2. ​ @UnfollowYourDreams Brazil also still operating the Leopard 1A4 because it is the only MBT suitable for Brazilian jungle.

  3.  @bozo5632  Yes. To add bulk to our MBT forces, to complement the Leopard 2A4 we also used to consider buying additional used Leopard 1A5 back in the 2019. But it was cancelled because the (limited) budget was planned for other purchase (submarine, air superiority jet fighters i.e. between F-15EX or Rafale, and so on)
