  1. its simple arch is for hipsters and mint is for people, cause why tf people need to beta test when they want to be productive :D i use mint for maybe like 10 years. And linux for more than 20 years. And i am also a linux utuber :D i dont need to prove anyone anything, i just want to set it and forget it.

  4. i dont know about you but linux mint cinnamon was quite fine for me for the last maybe five years or so. can also use ubuntu and i dont care what it changed on which release always works fine for me. I dont use DEs or GUIs i use apps that i need. And often for my limited range of tasks browsing watching movies or recording some videos almost any top mainstream linux distro is good enough.

  7. if you ask me then the year of the linux desktop is centos stream, which is stable rolling distro like debian desting that i wanted to run 15 years ago already. Probably with ibms help centos stream debian testing can be quite good year of the linux desktop. :D

  10. And Who are you again? You should really know better and just listen to the bearded prophet. And his words are Yes and Amen. Even if you have no clue and dont understand what its all about. If the prophet says Java is a Trap then it really is. Ive researched this topic for 5 years as a hobby and bought hundred programming books. Watch any video on Clojure and see what they say about Ruby. Rubys syntax is more fun than Java but stateless programming is the next big step after memory namagement. You should really listen to the bearded prophet, blonde martyr and the hero with the glasses. edit: Because they talk about topics that influence everyones lifes greatly.
