Don't forget bus and bike! And that China has lots of buses and trains, but still has too many cars! Sure, they have lots of bikes in traditional areas, but they don't have modern bike infrastructure: only the Netherlands has modern bike infrastructure, and Sweden and other European countries only started trying to catch up!

Preach it! That's the spirit! Put those fossil-fuel propaganda in their place! Did you know that one of the biggest sponsors in advertisements for mainstream media is the auto industry? That's why everyone thinks electric vehicles are unsustainable! Because the mainstream media are liars!

@Gigi-zr6hp cars are bad. EVs are not as bad as petrol, but they still make bad cities.

Why is disliked numbers hidden for this video? You want Chinese to suffer from pollution? You know that batteries can be recycled or used for grid storage, right? Are you paid by the auto industry? In the end, our goal shouldn't be to replace all cars with electric cars: it should be to get rid of as many cars as possible and replace what remains with electric.

@ramonching7772 do you believe in the Netherlands? It is not a children's fantasy land, though they eat chocolate for breakfast

Everyone, watch Fully Charged and Undecided with Matt Ferrel. EV batteries get recycled and repurposed, and there will be sodium-ion batteries to replace the lithium, and all that good stuff. Besides that, an EV is more sustainable than a combustion car over its whole lifetime, and it doesn't pollute air (at least not in population centres), nor would an electric car have given me asthma as a kid. The idea that an EV is less sustainable is a lie the mainstream media (whose biggest sponsors putting ads in papers are none other than the auto industry) promotes, and it was refuted by Fully Charged and Robert Llwellyn.

@900Yugo don't worry; renewables can work with energy storage or with countries like Australia exporting hydrogen, and if you are right, then okay, let's use nuclear. I'm only slightly opposed to it, but it's better than hydropower, a renewable source.

And they call themselves communist party, but they don't care for workers!
