  1. THIS is literally what the Model Aviation community is dealing with right now. The FAA is deeming it necessary to regulate, yet there is no hard data that determines any risk has ever existed due to the hobby.

  2.  @jaybird0312  this is literally what Nolan already pointed out as “anecdotal vs empirical” evidence. A single case derivative doesn’t represent the wide spread real world effect of “action A”. Wide spread choices affecting A should not be made void of that. Additionally you example is stupid cause a gun is a weapon, directly intended for the harm of others. They’re mere existence is a risk, regardless of if its pointed at you or not
