  1. Huge difference. Back when goggle, FB etc EXITED China, they had a choice to comply with local laws (like Microsoft with its Bing agreed to). They DECIDED not to. In the case of TikTok, the company has bent over backwards to comply with whatever lawmakers threw at it and then some.
