  14.  @kurousagi8155  they are now going into mass production of the j20s and also the engines. Within a year, all existing j20s that may still have Russian engines might change to ws10c. However, maybe China would just leave some with the Russian engines since the number of j20s with those is not great and they would be a small fraction of the 500 plus j20s being built.

  15.  @kurousagi8155  ws15 isn't ready. Ws10c is not what you are thinking about which I suspect is the original ws10a. Much has improved. You may also be thinking about al41 and not al31. Ws10c is more powerful and better than al31. That is why the j20s can now low supercruise which it could not with the al31s

  16.  @meaghancote-mcauley79  non sense. Russia wanted China to buy many more su35 in exchange for al31 engines which China did not. Subsequent, Putin personally asked China to but some su35 which it did... 24 of them. China has no use for al41 (or even al31 anymore). Ws10c has matured and ws15 should come online next couple years.

  17.  @kurousagi8155  not sure where you are getting all that from but makes no sense to only be able to make 5 ws10c when this engine is shared between j20, j10, j11, j15 and j16! Not counting a couple dozens to Pakistan! China's industrial capacity is far greater than this.
