Indians do not have any complaints about US/UK etc having hundreds of bases globally, including in the Indian Ocean and in the Gulf region. Typical colonial subject mindset.

Howcome you don't have issues with the dozens of bases it has, some are actually right at India's doorsteps!? What's with Indians and the boast about being 'the largest democracy'? You are angry with China because of the border issue which is relatively recent but still aligning yourselves to the UK and its successor, US. How long did the UK thoroughly colonize you and treated you worse than dogs?

Indian does NOT have a base in Mauritius proper... It just has a couple of facilities in one of the small islands belonging to Mauritius. I believe it's called agalega
