Regarding no3, as you pointed out, the Yuan is currently not as fully and freely convertible in the FX markets as it would need to be but I believe that is going to change in the next 5 to 10 years (15 at most) and then we will see a massive upward change from its current 2.5 or 3 % of reserve holdings. That will also be precipitated by the effort to have bilateral arrangements with more and more countries on currencies as China's dominant trade position becomes even more entrenched with the over 100 countries that call it their largest trading partner today.
