India is still very poor despite IMF etc. Your per capita per gdp puts you in the bottom 25 percentile. And also, no one is forcing people to accept Chinese loans or investments.

@saitama4650 India is today fourth, yesterday 5th. What is it? Lol. The worldbank says 6th for 2021. Much better than any other Asian country? Really? On what basis? You are neither better in nominal gdp , not PPP gdp nor gdp per capita nor any other metrics used for development (education, health, literacy, innovation, industrial capacity, poverty, hunger, etc etc) than many others in Asia.
