  1. I went to study in the US for 7 years till the early 1990s. Like many Asians, I admired the American way of doing things. The magnanimous, logical, fair way Americans went about doing things. Not to mention their inventiveness and resilience. They may not have done the right things all the time but they wanted to. Now, 3 decades later, I cannot recognize the America I used to admire. America is being run to the ground by, frankly, clueless people. Sad!
