They should be told how much money their companies such as VW, BASF, Siemens, BMW, Daimler and 100s more are making in China and supporting jobs back in Germany.

Vw sells 40% of all its cars to China and derives 50% of its global profits from that market. Those are published facts as a public company. BASf isn't far behind in terms of numbers. Money is repatriated to the HQ when it sees fit, as is common practice for multinationals

@johanhirte9661 nope. That was 20 years ago. There is no dependency on Germany for China to BUY anything. There is mutual trade but a BUYER can never be dependent on a seller unless it is something that only the seller has and it's critical to the buyer. Check again

 @lich_liars6735 re-export? What are you talking about? VW makes and sells cars in China. It makes a profit and repatriate that profit back to Germany when it wants.

@lich_liars6735 and many parts are still sourced in Germany from suppliers. Within vw, thousands of jobs from design to logistics to accounting to Hr etc support their China business. Hundreds of vw employees from Germany are sent to China... They eventually spend some of their salaries back in Germany stimulating the economy.. It's a circle.
