To india, defence partnership or ties mean tech transfer.. Which no one seems to be agreeing to. Wonder why?

@blcheah2672 neither would France or UK transfer tech to India. Even the US, I highly doubt, would give India Ge414 tech transfer.

@arijitdakshi820 first of all, nobody has 'offered' Nato+ membership to India. Don't confuse recommendation by a couple Indian Origin congressmen/senators as an offer. Second, EU??? Is India in Europe?

@lostwanderer8693 you are confusing 'honesty' with incompetence. India has tried many times to reverse engineer stuff. You think reverse engineering is easy? You think everything can be reverse engineered? It's more often not worth the trouble to reverse engineer some parts of a tech than to build the entire equipment from scratch. Can you reverse engineer just parts of a plane? How will it fly? Do you know what it takes to build a good fighter jet?
