  1. 5 years from now, there would be excuses about why this corridor hasn't amounted to anything yet. 10 years later, people would have forgotten about it. How many grand plans have the US and G7 announced in the last 5 years? How many have even started?

  2. India must think about goods that Europeans actually want to buy and produce them. Otherwise, IMEC would be like a 5 lane highway with just 12 Indian cars on it. That port to port segment from India to west Asia has been around. what's new? The key is the part from middle east to Europe.

  3. Well.. China to Germany railway has been operating for years. Trade through the suez canal been around for decades with many end ports owned by China, including the main landing point for IMEC, Piraeus. Don't see the economic value of loading goods on ship, offload to train, then on ship again etc to Europe... Time is wasted, cost is increased and insurance costs rocket.
