  1. Meanwhile, there are over 20,000 Functioning Mosques in Xinjiang and over 30,000 in whole of China. Quoting ASPI is the same as quoting CIA and NED. No one seems to ask why a few thousand Mosques were 'destroyed'. By the same logic, thousands of temples are also destroyed all the time for variety of reasons (old, infrastructure use for the public, lease expiry, land disputes etc etc)

  2. Eliminate Islamic (or any religion) extremism, sure. Why not? It's not eliminating the religion but extremism. Nothing wrong with that

  3. One more thing.. Minarets and Arabic religious architecture are NOT the same as Islam. Same for Burquas / Hijabs / etc. Uyghurs have never had those historically.
