  1. India isn't really an ally of the US. It is just being used by the US till it isn't needed anymore. So obvious. The US (and Japan, Australia, UK etc) needs someone to be blamed or to order around should a war happen or need to be instigated. Meanwhile the US will also try to empty India's coffers in favor of its military industrial complex.
