  1. So far, only Russia (and to a lesser, more covert manner, Israel) has agreed to tech transfer for some equipment. This ties the hands of India in terms to indigenization. Don't confuse 'make in India' or assembly with indigenization. They are not the same thing.

  2. You have the misconception that the Brahmos showcased what India and Russia can do together. Russia does not need India for military tech. It's the other way around. Russia can do it alone, india can't.
