  1. India's so-called engineering prowess is just a tale.. None of Indian universities are in the top global 150. And India accounts for about 20% of global chip design BUT it is almost all part of foreign companies endeavors outsourced to their Indian offices. Aside for some exceptions obviously, indian engineers are mostly people and process managers within foreign companies. Not hard core, hands on engineers.
