  1. I'm more inclined to believe the head tooth on the cougar is from the second explanation. That looked like a fully formed lower jaw and teratomas usually are indistinct masses of tooth, hair, fat cells, and sometimes eyes. They're formed by stem cells that got the wrong memo and should have been something else. They often occur in genitalia (ovaries and testes) and are just as horrifying as they sound.
