  1. I just can't accept this as an excuse anymore. We've had the internet at our fingertips for decades now and all it takes to start learning these things is googling "how to manage a household" "how to clean a house" "how to care for a child" and there are millions of articles and resources; guides on what to learn when you move into an apartment, and so much more. Should your parents have taught you? Yes. But they didn't and now you have to fill in the gaps and learn yourself--not rely on your SO to tell you how. I have been doing this since I was 14, in 2004, and it's only getting easier and more accessible. The most important thing is to start putting in some sincere effort to learn this stuff.
