I...should not have come here after watching Mama Doctor Jones talking about people eating this thing, but dangit curiosity. 🤮😆 It's freaking huge and crazy that moms don't bleed out more often from that huge wound after delivery. What is the process that happens to stop the bleeding? What is the percentage of women who DO have excessive bleeding post-afterbirth? How much does it weigh? How much blood is lost between afterburth and healing?
