  4.  @kissmyassbest  It was impossible to allow 3 million Germans to remain in Czechoslovakia after 1945. The Czechs would have been in serious trouble if they did that, they needed to have a country just for them, without Germans.

  21. Well, the Phoney War was still going on between Germany and France in 1940. The French army had a low morale. Maybe if Hitler did not invade France and the Low Countries a peaceful agreement could have been reached eventually. Maybe.

  22.  @jaakkooksa5374  If that's the case, then Hitler should have settled first the score with the UK, and not attack the USSR until after the war against the UK would have been won. But who knows how the USSR would have reacted? Maybe the Soviets would have attacked Germany.

  23.  @jaakkooksa5374  Well, Germany could have defeated the USSR, but only if Japan would have attacked the USSR, not the USA ,thus keeping the Soviet Siberian armies out of Europe. Fortunately Japan attacked the USA, thus Moscow was saved by the Siberian armies and in the end Nazi Germany lost the war.

However, Nazi Germany had another chance to win in 1942, if the Wehrmacht did not waste time trying to conquer Stalingrad and focused on a defensive posture on the Volga River. Fortunately the Germans wasted time and troops trying to conquer a useless city. It was enough for the Germans if they managed to cut off Soviet oil supplies from the Caucasus, but Hitler insisted on conquering Stalingrad.
