@Pootycat8359 Hungary was very expansionist. Hungary wanted to recover the territories of Slovakia, Transylvania and Northern Croatia, thus recreating Greater Hungary. Austria no longer had the means to be expansionist, after the destruction of the A-H Empire.

@Pootycat8359 There was no dispute between Hungary and Poland, the dispute was between Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, which led to the First Vienna Award in 1938 and then to the Second Vienna Award in 1940.
