Knowing Jesus and also knowing Bible Prophecy actually makes for a sense of urgency in getting out the Gospel to help bring into the Kingdom as many people as possible.

  21. When I got Saved I only read the Bible that first year. I had to cancel my newspaper and didn't read any fictional novels, because I was/am a voracious reader. I've since (24 years later) read it through, numerous times in English and Spanish.

Granted my dad told me if I tried that, he'd keep the baby and kick me out, yet he took me to the clinic. I was 15 and 10 weeks along. This was over 40 years ago. I didn't get Saved until 38, so God can still reach her. Keep praying for her.

We're supposed to read scripture in its entirety and Jesus said in Matthew 24 we would be going through the Tribulation. Since it's not a salvation issue, I go to churches that teach pre-Trib. Believe me, I wish it weren't so. Years ago, someone said in a chat - "pray for pre, prepare for post, but don't throw in the towel until the sky splits." Derek Prince and Jonathan Chan both said they believe in pan-trib, "it all pans out in the end."
