I agree with the Italian lady. Not just in the context of teaching but broadly. Years worked does not equate to skill or even quality experience, being a native speaker doesn't mean you are better than a non-native, and having a certification does not necessarily mean you are superior to someone without. On the job skill, dedication, and willingness to develop, is the end goal. Nothing else matters, they might improve the likelihood that candidate is great, but it's most important to have the best candidate not the best credentialed.

It certainly is a weird coincidence that people around the world are having families less, and are also less happy than before... It's almost like that sense of purpose and security people are looking for is not a question for those who have people to love and care for.

Was that sarcasm at the beginning? Countryside in my mind is a bit more... remote. But then again the province I live in is about the size of Japan with less than 3.5% of the population. And the neighbouring province (of about the same size), only has ~1 million people in it.

A lot of the impact of experiences is determined by how we choose to percieve it. The more one decides the eorld is out to get them, the more you perceive yourself as a victim, the more those negative experiences will impede you. It doesn't make those events right, but if you can influence how much you suffer as a result... Might as well aim high for your own sake.

You would think based on that alone the number or Japanese women eith foreign men would be staggering. Not that no foreigner will cheat (or every Japanese man will), just that the odds seem lower.

I don't know if they will want to hear this but... The perception based on concept is self-fulfilling, if more tattoos were allowed they would be less distressing to the public. Similarly, If tattoo=criminal=scary then they should be more frightened by the thought of a criminal without tattoos.
