  1. My problem isn't "the one directionality" it is that the censorship is happening period. "Oh no you can see her shoulders" That is effectively what these changes amount to and even if everyone was nude in this game. Big woop. It isn't rated E. If they want to put an optional mode in like the often do for gore (or like in Rust), cool options are good. But I am pretty sure there was this whole parade/proteat thing in the US that was just women walking around topless. Nudity isn't inherently sexual, but we aren't even talking about that. These people demonstrate that they think swimsuits are immoral.

  3. While I preferred the original more lizard like argonians, we aren't saying changing it is tarnishing the game. So the argument its a remake is absurd. Also a remake can be 1:1 with better graphics. No one need expect anything. But when changes are put in deliberately, just to censor, that's ridiculous. And as a result I am not buying the game I literally asked Bethesda for. I will just play the original that I bought because this did not exist at the time (~2020)

  4. 18:40 I suspect it is a matter of who worked on which items. There is a team of people working on these and if no one catches Janice or more likely, no one catches stephanie who refuses to kowtow, there are going to be differences.

  5. I am suspicious of the motive. I don't think you needed to be banned. I do think you said something excessive. But... People do it all the time. People who don't get banned. I definitely think that it's one thing to criticize one opinion, but any time you stereotype an entire group based on a few. Let alone condone their loss. Is unreasonable. It is not reasonable because no group of people is perfectly uniform. People within those grouos hold individual opinions and have differing opinions. Over generalizing is required at times, but doing so rigidly denies that nuance. I am of the opinion that people should be saved whenever they can. I get people don't agree, I think it's a reasonable opinion to disagree and think people who do evil should not receive charity. And while I don't think what you said was reasonable, I do think you should be free to say it, at least because there is a double standard. I couldn't even imagine how many people have wished ill of me. But I have seen a lot. But if people cannot voice their opinions, the conversation or dissent cannot happen. As a result understanding, and growth cannot happen.
