I will say though, that in mass production of that same dress you can get the labour time down... staggeringly (which I am certain she knows, but viewers may not). But it would take a very sizeable market to justify the factory setup costs. Also given the fitted nature, it would lose some appeal when produced en-mass, unless you undersized and opted for stretching fabrics. Still there are definitely some manufacturing processes that could be done to make size limited customization on orders, while still having very fast production times. I suspect, using foreign factories (as is typical) you could get a acceptably comparable dress (to us pleb consumers) down to maybe $180-350 sale price. BECAUSE FABRIC IS STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE HERE NOW!

Sometimes starting on the steepest learning curve is easier to identify ones own mistakes. Rather than failing to improve after getting in the door.

I kind of like the idea of making pockets modular and transferable. Less time pulling individual items out of one pair of pants and placing them in the next. Also, you could conserve effort and materials. Plus, easy access for those who find that new trend appealing/amusing. But carying a small bag/purse etc. outside your garments is not worth the risk. Larger bags have issues as is, smaller ones only makes theft easier and more likely to contain a wallet or cash.

All the more reason to wear cool dresses.

I find the blurred and edited faces extraordinarily creepy. Even if somone were the most hideous person in the world I rank them above face filters. Also duckface looks stupid. Please stop. Besides it helps no one setting unrealistic expectations. Do you really want someone you like to say, "...oh", or be disappointed merely by meeting you in person?

Pockets as separate garments, that sounds bizzare and unheard of. What if instead of trying to fit a giant phone or DVD case into our jeans and have to remove it every time, we just make this sack like thing we can put on our back. We could call it... a 'back sack'.

I would have reported them to the Ad Standards council, and reported them for fraud. Which is what I am in the process of doing for one similarly falsely advertised product. But if I were you I would have also probably threatened legal action regarding the use of my photo, and the tort of passing off. Then demand the immediate cessation of use of said photos, as well as any revenue made during the time which my photo was used. If they want to continue selling the dress without, fine. If the dress is of acceptable quality (unlikely) I would then offer an alternative of an ongoing royalty, and offer an advertisement for the product (for an additional fee).

I would mount the wax to the spinning wheel (not the wheel itself but basically as a brake acting on the string beween the wheel and the spool) so that it is being stretched while the wax is applied and adding a buffing effect to smoothen the thread (also saving time). Am I a seamstress, weaver, or what have you? No.

I know it's not new. Have you seen the BLOOM!? Or the extreme exposure? Or the bright conveniently aimed sunbeam... Or the make-up. Or the masks (I can't remember what culture that was...)

Fake pockets are indeed blasphemy. This has always disturbed me greatly.
