So you want to minimize great performances in beloved roles of respected teachers and rolemodels just to because it is convenient for your narrative about a trope? That doesn't speak well of the actors that played in those roles. I AM NOT in agreement that Lawrence Fishburne is just some insignificant individual, with a history of playing meaningless characters. Pat Morita is probably the single best character in that film. Is this all part of one of those schemes to make the accomplishments of the past seem worthless so new actors can claim firsts? This is BS.
