  2. I agree this was unacceptable but what does this have to do with soy? Most people in North America dislike Tofu and soy milk, whether they are idiots on the left, idiots on the right, or normal people of any variety. But seriously, blaming soy for this behaviour gives you a massive credibility and objectivity hit. Plus it just seems childish. If you want to insult them, why not just call them bullies, higher thought challenged, miopic, closed minded, egocentric, criminal, hateful, oppressive, etc.?

  3. Let's be honest having kids when you are younger is better all around. Your body can recover easier; you have more energy; you are more mobile and can keep up with your kids; you have the support network and an excuse to visit with aging grandparents; it gives you time to figure out what you want to do (since most people are apparently idiots who can't figure their sh!t out anyway); it gives you some much needed responsibility and perhaps some appreciation for your own parents...

  5. To be fair it is pretty selfish to walk out on your kids to pursue a dream or career you want. They are your kids, your responsibility, and they will miss you and (rightly) begrudge you. One might argue if she wins their lives will improve. That depends, an absent parent can be very detrimental. But we also usually consider gamblers to be deadbeats. She has put her name out there, YouTube exists, I think she will be fine and can probably pursue both if she wants. It doesn't have to be the traditional journey to stardom. ...Now Katie would probably be offended by the notion of responsibility and say, "how dare you suggest absense is not being a good mother". Well, are you there for them, or are you on tour all the time?
