  16. But, Do they want to buy them for their own use. Or just think they are cool by association to War Planes. If you put a 20s v8 with 100hp 150 lb*ft beside a modern 300hp 300lb*ft Turbo 4 cylinder and showed them both to people from the 20s (time travel assumed). With little exception, they would choose the modern engine. Most average consumers don't care. Race car drivers care about performance, and even holdouts will cave when they start regularly losing to cheaper and faster electric cars. The uber wealthy don't really care about engines just what will make them look good, on and off paper. Collectors will still collect, but use modern transportation as convenient. Hobbyists would likely buy them to work on, but drive electric. Because hobbyists like myself are dumb and sometimes do things like woodworking with hand tools.

  18. This debate was settled years ago, HFC is an extremely inefficient means of storing energy. Nuclear fission is even a more viable option... and it isn't exactly a good option.
