Since 1954, when the Ukrainian president of the Soviet Union, Nikita Khrushchev, gifted Crimea to Ukraine. By the way, Great Britain, and today the USA, want Crimea more than anything else on this planet. It is the heart of Russia. The most vulnerable part of Russia. Imagine US-NATO missiles in Crimea!
