lol, the supreme court understands that states have laws too and can override federal ones. they did their job. there are plenty of states that allow abortions up to late term... go there.

@LisaLeeLeeBlue i read 'high and mighty' as educated and knowledgeable, so thanks. easier to not have sex unless a person can afford an 'accidental' child.. or at least double up protection so both parties are protected from unplanned babies. no one cares about feelings... lol.

@leonlawrencez28 well in my experience, people who need help don't really care who gives it to them... most religions dictate no sex before marriage, too... can't really pick one religious rule to follow and ignore others... lol. not really any citizens responsibility to pay for other peoples' mistakes, either... be sexually responsible... and save the rape and incest argument, not that many women are getting pregnant by either way, according to texas state statistics.

@leonlawrencez28 taxpayers also pay for everything else in this country, including the paychecks of lifer politicians and those on medicaid... lol. if someone doesn't want to stay pregnant, they can get an abortion, if its later than 6 wks or a fetal heartbeat, they can go across state lines... its really on the person with the problem, not the entire state. do you rely on gov't to solve all your problems? i doubt it.

@LisaLeeLeeBlue considering i work in hospice, and before that in elder care, taking care of parents whose children forgot about them and visited on holidays and birthdays... i care a lot longer than most of the population of this country. if this was about my opinions and personal bias, i'd say sterilize most of the ungrateful fucking brats born to people... but it isnt. this story was about the supreme court doing the job they are supposed to do- regardless of their own personal bias and opinions... because no judge SHOULD EVER BE BIASED AND RULE ON THEOR OWN PERSONAL BELIEFS. and you if you believe otherwise, i hope you never serve on a jury because you do not understand how law is supposed to work.

@leonlawrencez28 orphanages are no longer legal here, thats why there's foster care... and there's enough kids in every state in the system already. plenty of ways to not get pregnant.
