  1. if people really knew and understood history... none of this would be an issue. only rich people owned slaves.. and only south of the mason dixon line... where production was not industrialized like the northern states at that time. the man who owned the most slaves in the country was a black man. there was only 87 yrs of slavery in the united states of america... we abolished the practice faster than any other country- uk,most of europe actually, the west indies, central and south america... do the math, people. before the declaration of independence, we were ruled under the king of england... so stop spreading nonsense and lies.. and spread the truth- our country is not racist, some people are (including blacks, asians, whites, native americans, latinos, etc). it took americans one or two generations to end slavery, what was common practice for wealthy at that time period. i dont know what people are fighting for now... my black daughter can go anywhere she wants, eat anywhere she wants, go to any school she wants, buy any property she wants, get any job she wants... and as long as she does not break the law, she wont need to encounter police.... you're missing logic and common sense in all this mess.
