@saywhat6250 no need for all caps to get your point across. americans are citizens of the u.s., its synonymous.

@xwrtk there's a difference between people here on student visas, or work permits.. and those crossing borders without any paperwork.

@xwrtk the legal migrants i know came as students.in the 90s my friends from jordan and latvia some had family here already, some did not. we have always had people coming here for asylum starting in the late 70s with the vietnamese and laos refugees, currently we have the burmese and afghan refugees here. And most become naturalized citizens and contribute to our american way of life. if you're talking about d.a.c.a. kids and families, that's where this issue began... but those were mostly women children and families. all i see are fighting aged men and older teenage boys. their own home countries don't need their physical and mental strength to make that country better? i have no issues helping others, we already pay for more in other countries than we do at home. those other countries we pay for like to criticize the hand that feeds them, too. this is not a personal attack on legal migrants. but i certainly can't cross into mexico or canada without a passport.. and definitely cannot enter without one, so that is illegal.

@xwrtk no, people do not cross into canada or mexico like they do into the u.s. without sneaking illegally. yes, citizens can be let back in their home country once citizenship and identity are proven, duh.. lol. the illegals coming now have no income, no money saved, no idea of where to live or how to pay for anything.... and our federal gov't is making citizens fund of the 'free' things given.. while citizens are suffering financially from bad policies. its making the country go broke.

@dorothymartin8557 yes, seems the only requirements needed for the current situation is brown skin. citizens are moving because the cost of living in these other places is so much cheaper right now!
