@circusbrains we got rid of hard labor in prisons long ago. dietary and religious needs must be catered to because in america, prisoners get rights... unlike the majority of other countries, like russia, singapore, china, and many middle eastern countries. criminals are why prisons exist. if they cannot make it in society following rules and laws of basic humanity (respecting others lives, property, etc). i'm not spreading misinformation at all... most all on tv rots the brain... people imitating and emulating glorified entertainers, like actors and athletes.. lol. stay in the circus, seems to suit you :)

@CKing-388 good lord, man.. where did you read i wrote that? lol, i didnt... you just suck at interpreting. i love america and her constitution, but none of the lifer politicians running her into socialist behavior. prisons is supposed to be harsh, perhaps you should try reading comprehension more.

@genesisx5973 *there there is plenty of data. american prisons used to have hard labor sentences... life term prisoners were experimented on medically. prisoners used to have no rights once in jail... now its like a hotel stay compared to other countries.. lol. prisoners even make money doing jobs while serving time. good luck finding anything like that in russia! americans are such pussies now.. weak characters, weak minds... just read the comments section.. no logic, no reasoning, no common sense... so sad.

@genesisx5973 good, use the edit button next time. you can keep typing the same thing, but don't be lazy.. go do some research... i'm not wrong in my facts.

@genesisx5973 every black person knows of the medical experiments done on them and prisoners... its not new news, man. just take some of your precious time and go research what prison life was like before civil rights that allowed prisoners to be treated better.

@genesisx5973 lol, just because you don't agree and don't want to look up any facts.. does not mean i'm wrong. next time, just don't respond to strangers' comments with your bs

@genesisx5973 dude.. lol.. i never typed anywhere that harsher environments was rehabilitating.... nor did i mention my opinion on privatized prisons. i wrote that prisons in america used to be harsh like prisons in other countries with hard labor and it being rough.. but now, prisoners have rights, regardless of the crimes they are jailed for. i'm all for harsh sentences for some criminals, in fact, there should be a lot less chances for appeals for certain prisoners. as for private businesses owning prisons... i'm against it because, as you said, it makes them keep people in longer than their terms as they profit per inmate annually. just like kamala harris did when she was a.g... lol.

@genesisx5973 yes, it should be... from juveniille to adult, make it so criminals don't want to go back... not this catch and release system some states have now or prisons where inmates get catered to.. some people cannot be reformed because they don't want to be. but scare them or make it miserable and maybe some won't be criminals anymore, too.
