its not the fault of police, they have to follow laws on the books. why would her parents let her date at this age? especially dating so seriously. i know her parents feel very guilty about her death, but blaming police is not the right thing to do. blame his parents, blame yourselves. no person should stay in abusive relationships, no matter the age.

@shawnnewell4541 it should not be normal, is my point.. lol. group dates, school sporting events with classmates... thats where to learn social skills outside of home. what good is dating someone so young? what benefits are there from doing so? there are none.

@shawnnewell4541 and at that time, i'm sure parents had a say in who their daughters dated... met them, knew their families, etc. this guy has obviously abused this child before he killed her... why didn't her parents step in and stop it after the first hit? today's dating situation is different because the lack of morality in the parents, too.
