yes, the typical solar magnetic cycle is 11 years, and there are different cycles on a longer time period as well, ~12,000 yrs, and ~480,000 yrs, as proven by anthropologists, climatologists, geographers, astrophysicists, and astronomers.
we're going into solar cycle 25 now, it matches the same number of predicted sunspots, or lower, than when maunder minimum occurred. and according to dr. zharkova, this cycle might see all 4 poles of the sun go dim instead of the typical two... less solar activity means more intense weather caused on all planets in the sun;s orbit.
since i do not hold my phd in any of those fields, i'll rely on the experts to predict climate, not corporations, or politicians... lol. thanks for your input, tho...

the planet has existed in this orbit a lot longer... there have been higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere several times before... man just was not capable of recording it other than cave drawings, rock carvings, which are found all over the planet. when all the volcanoes were massively erupting, carbon levels were toxic... the earth has been here before..we have not.
man, specifically, chinese during the shang dynasty, were documenting sunspots before anyone else, but the interpretation of the data wasn't useful. again, while mrs thatcher is most honorable.. she does not hold any scientific degrees to be any authority on the matter. jack eddy predicted in the 1970s, that this minimum would occur now... bet you've never heard his name.
think of it this way, if carbon levels were the real issue, and puny humans could possibly be more damning to our planet than the giant ball of electromagnetic energy we orbit (its about a billion times bigger than earth), don't you think those in gov'ts with the power to change things, would not take private jets all over the world on multiple occasions considering jet fuel adds more carbon.. and not be okay with tossing money into a carbon tax pile (because, you know, throwing money at it makes it not add to the co2 problem... lol.). there is no excuse for anyone to need to fly or travel anywhere with all the technology available...
we can just agree to disagree. i'm good with that!
