  1. those whose income must remain at a certain level to continue benefits rely on cash transactions, that cannot be tracked by any government until reported on taxes, cannot survive on only digital transactions. garage and yard sales, tipping drivers, and those in the service industry, paying cash for discounts... none can be replaced by digital only currency. no one in the federal government needs to know everything one buys, no government for that matter. that's what the irs is for, and they go after people who don't pay taxes. cash must remain an option.. or some other tangible metal to replace it. constitutionally, only the treasury can mint money... lol.
