no one gets to choose how they're born. everyone in america gets to choose how they live as an adult. its choices and actions.

@Scrunchie_777 it doesn't shape your future.. lol. it only affects the now. i know plenty of people born into poverty who are no longer. one of my longest friends was the last born of 7 to a single mom, and none of them are poor today. its about teaching your kids how to not make the same mistakes as you, or their parents. life is all about teaching lessons, and learning from those lessons. if no generation understands that in any family, history repeats. i'm a single mom, my kid is already better off than i am because i taught her not to make my mistakes with money, debt, relationships, etc. your view of life is very sad and daunting.... if a lot of people see thing as you do, i feel badly but understand better why people believe nothing can ever change. but it can and it does with good life lessons.
