took the train from chicago to los angeles... was the best time ever.. .lol! trains are a much better way to travel if you have the time... a lot cheaper than flying, too, unless you're in the sleeper cars, ofc.. lol.

@ronclark9724 it would be cheaper for roomettes... lol... and always, always, always bring food and drinks on board in coach or business!

@ronclark9724 its a big difference in price for the train, tho... lol... $55 one way for coach seat, ~$1500 for family sleeper car for one way (the biggest sleeper room), there is a business class option for ~$85 one way- its the same as coach but no kids.. lol. most people sleep in coach class on longer trips, just louder sometimes.
