my daughter came home daily from school and wanted a therapist. it was like peer pressure. we told her its all normal, these feelings... and everyone goes through it, its part of growing up. she went once to a counselor, then never wanted another.. lol. medication and addiction free, too!

@7star7storm7 never typed life is easy. but i was armed with knowledge from my parents and they, theirs... and i passed that onto my kids. life is hard, you have to be able to deal with whatever is thrown at you, especially when you don't expect it. it starts with parents who are not selfish or about their own lives, who give all their knowledge to their kids. the world is messed up as it is, having screwed up parents makes things worse from the start, addicts and such. i wasn't lucky, i was prepared... and now my kids are prepared, too.

@7star7storm7 life is not simple! that is not a lesson my parents taught me, nor did i teach my kids that. social media makes 'social life' a lot harder... happy i didn't grow up with it and i put limits on our kids, too.
