  1. The failure of the display piece suppressor looks like it was put into a standing wave by the gasses. That would be a stress on any jacket put on the suppressor. In all the other suppressors, there are more channels for the gasses to move through and to dissipate the kinetic energy of the gasses. The muzzle end of the display suppressor did not have any baffles for the segment that failed. It seems to me that more baffles throughout the suppressor is the solution, and it would act like when marching soldiers break step over a bridge: it prevents energy from finding a resonance point that makes a standing wave. A standing wave grows stronger and stronger the more times it is allowed to resonate, and standing waves can destroy muzzles, bridges, and even the plaza of the MGM Grand Hotel back a few decades ago.
